18th PPAk FEB UGM Graduation Ceremony
Graduation is memorable and meaningful event in student’s life. Graduating from university is influential event that gives the students an altered outlook on their existence. This is not an ending,this is just a beginning for them to chase their dreams.
Accounting Profession Education, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada held a graduation ceremony for students who have passed competency test on June 12th, 2020. Due to COVID 19 pandemic, the graduation ceremony was held online.
The Dean of Faculty of Economics, Vice Dean of Academic Affairs, the Head of Accounting Departement, lecturers and invited guest attended the graduation ceremony. In that occasion, PPAk FEB UGM delivered 51 certificate of profession for students who have passed the CPA competency test.
Dean of Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada congratulated all the graduates and gave an important message that all the students should keep on learning. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining FEB UGM’s excellent reputation. Dr. Rahmat Gunadi, as parent of Rizaldy Zulfikar Rahmat ( PPAk FEB UGM graduate), thanked FEB UGM for educationg his son not only in academic but also in ethical value.
The speaker of the graduation ceremony was Mr. Bogat Agus Riyono, Ph.D, M.Sc, Ak, CA. He motivated the graduates to always upgrade their knowledge, because the challenges ahead are getting tougher. Technological advancement are getting faster and require accountants to always keep updated to this change. However, UGM graduates should be optimistic to face the future as long as they keep on learning.
